Every Mihaela piece is built by a family of artisans, using Romanian oak that has been hand-cut from the foothills surrounding their mountain village. Rich finishes are applied by hand, accentuating the oak’s natural textures and organic grain patterns.
  • Frames are craftsman-built from solid Romanian oak—sustainably harvested by our artisans’ family—cut from locally grown trees up to 250 years old.
  • Dining tabletops are made from alternating layers of Romanian oak wood and solid spruce wood to ensure the stability and longevity of every piece.
  • Hand-applied, lacquered finishes accentuate Mihaela’s natural oak wood surfaces and add a layer of extra protection.
